Landlords who own multiple properties can have a float balance of one property transferred to the float balance of another property.
Transferring funds from one property’s float to another
Navigate to Financials > Transfer Deposit/Float
Open the Float between properties tab
Populate the form as detailed in the image below
Click Transfer
On the Bank > View bank lines page, two Balancing Payment (BP) lines will have been added to show this internal float movement. One line will debit the property (Subcategory = FLOAT Out), and the other will credit the property (Subcategory = FLOAT In).
