1. Viewing float balances for all properties
To see the current float balance for all live properties, navigate to Lettings properties > Other balances > Float balances.
The page defaults to list all current properties, but the View dropdown in the top left corner can be used to change this.
2. Accessing the float ledger for a specific property
There are two ways to access the float ledger for a property.
Navigate to Lettings properties > Other balances > Float balances and click on the value within the Float balance column
Navigate Lettings properties > Property balances, click on the value within the Landlord balance column and click on the Float ledger tab
Note: A negative property float balance indicates the float has been overdrawn. To investigate, examine the float ledger and determine what transactions have caused the negative balance. If required, additional funds can be moved to the float by following these steps.
