1. Transaction is related to a property
Every bank transaction related to a specific property can be located via the Landlord or Tenant ledgers.
To access either of these ledgers, please follow the steps listed below:
Navigate to Lettings properties > Property Balances
Locate the required property
To access the landlord ledger, click on the value within the Landlord balance column (shown below)
To access the tenant ledger, click on the value within the Tenant arrears column (shown below)
From either ledger, click on View > Bank lines (landlord ledger) or Bank lines (tenant ledger) from the top right corner
Users will be directed to a new page that lists all bank lines for the selected property. The search field can be used to filter the data should the user want to view specific bank lines.

2. Transaction is not related to a property
If the bank transaction is not related to a specific property (for example, if the bank line relates to a fee transfer or was assigned to another category in error), the Bank > View bank lines page can be used to locate it.
The View bank lines page shows all bank transactions within a specific date range. The search field at the top right of the table can be used to filter the data, for example, by subcategory, date or amount, and the filter by, option from the top left dropdown, can be used to filter by account.
The default date range shows one week of transactions, so it may need to be changed to find a transaction from an older date. To do this, click Change date range on the left of the screen, populate the Start and End periods and click Filter. The table will update to list only transactions that fall within the new date range.
Note: Larger date ranges can take longer to load due to the volume of data being processed.
