Landlord ledger - Modifying statement layout

Please find below an example of a landlord statement generated from the system. The image has been annotated to highlight the key statement features.

Additional features

There are optional features that can be enabled on your landlord statements to display:

  • Use statement invoice numbering

  • Split rents into rent periods

  • Hide statement period start date

  • Any future deductions

  • Tenant ledger

  • Landlord ledger

  • Tenant arrears balance

  • Any available float balances

  • Summary page - a financial summary of all the landlord's properties

  • Management fee - Shows the management fee percentage

  • Show contractor reference

  • Enable receipt file - Includes a link to the invoice file for each deduction

  • Display future expenses - shows all open expenses which have not yet been deducted from the landlord

  • Show portfolio arrears

  • Remove page break between portfolio properties

  • Hide summary sheet for single properties

To enable any of the above features, go to the superuser admin page (Admin > View all employees and then click on Admin page)

  1. Click on Account

  2. From the Financial dropdown on the left select Landlord statements

  3. Locate the feature you require and switch the toggle to on

From this page, you can also set the email address and employee name to be used when sending bulk landlord statement emails.

Note: Enabling/disabling optional features will alter all future statements generated. These features cannot be enabled for specific landlords and will occur system-wide.
