The tenant pack functionality allows users to customise which documents are to be generated and sent alongside the tenancy agreement.
To have the tenancy pack functionality enabled, please follow the guidance here.
1. Creating a tenancy with a tenancy pack
Go to Tenants > Create tenancy
Populate the fields as required
Expand the Select documents to create dropdown and select the name of the tenancy pack to be generated alongside the lease
If the lease (and any relevant pack templates) are to be electronically signed, tick the Use electronic signatures checkbox
There are two options available for creating tenancy documentation, please select the relevant one:
Create tenant documents - documents will be generated in separate windows in PDF format
Create documents and email - documents will be generated as above and a pre-populated email to the tenants and any guarantors (if applicable) will open which contains links to their tenancy documentation
The page will be grey for a short period of time while the documents are generated.
2. Using Signable
If the Use electronic signatures checkbox was ticked at the point of creating the tenancy, users will be automatically redirected to the View open Signable documents page in a new browser tab.
Note: we recommend that all documents are revised prior to being sent for signing.
To send the documents for signing:
On the View open Signable documents page, locate the document log in question
Within the Send column, click on the tick icon
Once sent, the Status column will change to Sent and the Send column will be stamped with the date and time the documents were sent.
