On the Deposit balances page, an additional column (Deposit scheme balance) can be enabled. This column displays the balance held in the deposit scheme for each property. This value is updated by using the Pay deposits function (see here) or by manually updating the ledger.

The total deposit scheme balance will also be displayed at the top of the Deposit balances page for reference.

1. Viewing deposit scheme balance transactions
To view deposit scheme balance transactions for all properties:
Navigate to Lettings properties > Other balances > Deposit balances
At the top of the balance, click on the Total deposit scheme balance value
To view deposit scheme balance transactions for a single property:
Navigate to Lettings properties > Other balances > Deposit balances
Locate the relevant property
Click on the value within the Deposit scheme balance column
2. Manually adjusting a deposit scheme balance
Navigate to Lettings properties > Other balances > Deposit balances
Locate the relevant property
Click on the value within the Deposit scheme balance column
From the top right corner, select Deposit scheme out or Deposit scheme in (depending on how the balance is to be adjusted)
Populate the form with details of the adjustment
Click Submit
