To change the management type of a property from Managed let to Let only, please follow the steps listed below:
1. Remove future due dates
Go to Lettings properties > View properties
Locate the property in question
In the View column, expand the dropdown and select Ledger (tenant)
Select Delete due dates
Select the date on which the rent due dates are to be deleted
Click Submit
2. Update the management type
Go to Lettings properties > View properties
Locate the property in question
In the Street column, click on the property address
Expand the Management type dropdown and select Let only
Click Update property
3. Archive the property
Once the final payment has been cleared, and no further action is required, the property can be archived. This ensures that the property no longer appears as a live/current property on the system.
Go to Lettings properties > View properties
Locate the required property
In the Street column, click on the property address
Expand the Property status dropdown and select Past property
Click Update property
