1. Linking an owner to a property
To link a sales property to an owner that already exists on your system, please follow the steps below:
Go to Sales properties > View appraisals or Sales > View available properties (depending on that stage the property is at)
Locate the property in question
Within the Actions & Views column, expand the dropdown and select Link to owner
From here, select the name of the owner to be linked to this property
Click Submit
2. Viewing owner-property links
Go to Owners > Property Link Table (or Owners > Property Landlord Links).
This page will list the links between properties currently under management and their owners.
The search field can be used to locate specific links. For example, search a property address to see all owners linked to that property or search the owner's name to view all properties linked to that owner.
This table can be exported by clicking on the Export button, located to the right-hand side of the Search field.
3. Removing owner-property links
Go to Owners > Property Link Table (or Owners > Property Landlord Links).
Locate the link that needs to be removed - either by searching the property address or owner's name.
Click the red X button within the Delete link column.
Please note, deleting an owner-property link only removes the association between the two records and will not delete the physical records for the owner or property.
