1. Linking a landlord to a property
When a new owner/landlord is added to the system, the user is prompted to link them to a property. However, if the landlord/owner was not linked to a property at this point or if they have brought on a new property, please follow the steps below to link them to a property:
Go to Lettings properties > View Properties
Locate the property in question
In the Action column, expand the dropdown and select Link to landlord
Select the landlord's name
Populate any other relevant information.
Click Submit
2. Viewing landlord-property links
Go to Owners > Property Link Table (or Owners > Property Landlord Links)
This page will list the links between current properties and their landlords/owners
The search field can be used to filter the data down, for example, enter a property address to see all owners/landlords linked to that property or search the landlord's name to view all properties linked to that landlord
Export this table by clicking on the Export button on the right-hand side of the Search field.
3. Removing landlord-property links
Go to Owners > Property Link Table (or Owners > Property Landlord Links)
Locate the link that needs to be removed by searching the property address or landlord's name
In the Delete link column, click on the red cross icon
