View available properties - Managing property chains (contacting third parties, moving property positions and deleting a property)

1. Contacting relevant third parties

  1. Go to Sales properties > View available properties

  2. Locate the property in question

  3. Click on the chain icon

  4. Locate the party to be contacted and click on their email address

A blank email will open allowing users to populate the body of the email with the required information before sending.

Note: The contact's name and email address will automatically populate in the email if this information has been set within the chain.

2. Moving the position of a property within a chain

When all the relevant properties have been added to a chain, users may need to re-order the list so that properties are sitting in the correct position.

To alter the position of a property in a chain:

  1. Go to Sales properties > View available properties

  2. Locate the property in question

  3. Click on the chain icon

  4. Locate the property to be moved

  5. Click on the upward or downward arrow located to the left of the property's ID number (shown below).

  6. Repeat this action until the property is in the correct position

3. Deleting a property from a chain

  1. Go to Sales properties > View available properties

  2. Locate the property in question

  3. Click on the chain icon

  4. Locate the property to be removed

  5. Within the final column, click on the red cross icon

  6. A confirmation message will appear - click on OK to remove the property or Cancel to stop this action

Note: This action will remove the property from all chains on your system. If this property is still to be linked to active chains, users will need to add the property back into each chain manually.
