Company details - Adding additional company contacts

For our English, Welsh and Northern Irish clients, additional company contact fields are available on the system to comply with this section of the Companies Act 2006.

Through the Admin page, superusers (employees set to access level 0) have the ability to add details of up to two Directors, one Company secretary and one Witness.

1. Adding contact details

  1. Go to Admin > View all employees

  2. Click on Admin page

  3. Open the Contact details tab

  4. Populate the fields as required

  5. Click on Update

2. Updating agreement templates

We have a signature merge field available for each of the different contact types (Director one, Director two, Company secretary and Witness) and in order for any of these parties to sign a document, the relevant signature merge field must be included in the agreement template.

Please find below the signature merge field for each contact type.

  • Director one = $signature.director.one$

  • Director two = $signature.director.two$

  • Company secretary = $signature.company_secretary$

  • Witness = $signature.witness$
