1. Email
At the point of accepting an offer, a pre-populated memorandum of sale email will open which contains information relating to the sale including the property address, details of each relevant party (owner, buyer and their solicitors) and the sale price.
The email addresses of the owner, buyer and their solicitors will be BCC'd into the email if this information has been set within the system. We recommend that users review this email before sending it.
If any changes need to be made, for example, the buyer's lawyer has not been set, users can close this pop-up and update the required information. This email can be generated again by re-accepting the offer. For guidance on how to add/accept an offer, please click here.
Note: For our Scottish clients, this email is blank by default. Users can manually type in the required text before sending the email if required.
2. Letter
Users have the ability to create their own memorandum of sale letter template for use in the Template documents area. For guidance on how to create a new letter template, please click here
For our clients who are part of a franchise, a memorandum of sale letter template may be available on your documents portal. Details of how to access this portal can be found in your onboarding guide.
