Offers - Unable to accept an offer

Should a user be unable to accept an offer for the property, this could be due to an existing offer already being accepted. Please note, users can accept only one offer for a property at any one time.

To allow an offer to be accepted, the status of all other offers against the property should be set to either 'Pending', 'Rejected' or 'Withdrawn'.

Users can view and update the status of all offers by following the steps below;

  1. Go to Sales properties > View available properties

  2. Within the Overview column, click on the house icon

  3. Within the linked buyers tab, click on the offer amount against a buyer record

  4. A pop-up will appear and the offer status can be changed to either 'Rejected' or 'Withdrawn'

  5. Click on Update offer

Should an error appear stating a buyer process already exists for the property when attempting to accept a new offer, users should follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Sales properties > View sales progression

  2. Locate the property record

  3. Within the Status column, update the buyer process to 'Rejected' or 'Fall through'
