The additional clause functionality allows users to add specific information regarding the property to the generated lease without having to manually edit the agreement.
1. Adding additional clause information
Go to Properties > View properties
Locate the property in question
In the Street column, click on the property address
Open the Details tab
Scroll down and click on Lease details
Locate and populate the Additional clauses field
Click Update property
2. Additional clause merge field
In order for additional clause information to pull through to the generated lease, the agreement template must include the additional clause merge field - $property.additional_clauses$.
