Updated over 7 months ago

1. Setting rent review dates

  1. Go to Tenants > Tenancy dates

  2. Locate the tenant/tenancy in question

  3. In the Rent last reviewed or Next rent review column, click on the date (or Not set)

  4. Select the required date

  5. If there are multiple tenants on the tenancy, users can include all joint tenants in this update so that they do not need to manually set this date per tenant

  6. Click Submit

2. Tracking rent reviews

2.1 Next rent review

  1. Go to Tenants > Tenancy dates

  2. Locate the Next rent review column and click on the column header

  3. Tenants with next rent review dates in the past will be brought to the top of the table followed by those with review dates in the near future

This data can be exported in Excel format by clicking on the blue Export button.

2.2 Last rent reviews

  1. Go to Tenants > Tenancy dates

  2. Locate the Rent last reviewed column and click on the column header

  3. Tenants with last rent review dates furthest in the past will be brought to the top of the table followed by those with last rent review dates that have recently passed

Note: the search field can be used to filter this data should the user wish to view information on a specific tenant/tenancy alone.

3. Updating review dates

Once a tenant's rent has been reviewed, users will then want to update both the Rent last reviewed date and Next rent review date. Guidance on how to update these dates can be found in section 1 above.
