Marketing - Setting the EPC rating and uploading an EPC graph/document

1. Uploading an EPC document

Note: EPC documents must be uploaded in PDF format.

  1. Go to Lettings properties > Publish to marketing sites

  2. Locate the required property

  3. In the EPCs column, select the Upload icon

  4. Drag and drop the document into the pop-up window, or click on Add files and locate the relevant document in your computer files

  5. Select Start upload

Note: Advertising portals will display the document as uploaded to SME Professional. Users may want to blur out any sensitive information on the document (for example, the full property address) before uploading.

To delete an EPC document, follow steps 1 - 4 above and click on the Delete button against the EPC file to be removed.

2. Uploading an EPC graph

Note: EPC graphs must be uploaded in JPEG/JPG format.

  1. Go to Lettings properties > Publish to marketing sites

  2. Locate the required property

  3. In the EPCs column, click on the upload icon

  4. Drag and drop the document into the pop-up window, or click on Add files and locate the relevant document in your computer files

  5. Select Start upload

3. Setting the EPC rating

For the EPC rating value to be shown on a property listing, it needs to be set within the property record.

  1. Go to Lettings properties > View properties

  2. Locate the required property

  3. In the Street column, click on the property address

  4. Open the Descriptions tab

  5. Update the Energy performance indicator field

  6. Select Update property

Note: If any changes are made to a property currently being marketed, a new marketing feed must be published for this updated information to be sent to the advertising portals.
