Updated over 5 months ago

1. Adding a new sales enquiry

  1. Go to Sales properties > View appraisals

  2. Click + Enquiry

  3. In the New sales enquiry pop-up, users can add details of the lead owner and any joint owners

  4. If the individual exists on the system as an owner/landlord, select their name from the Add from existing owners dropdown. If not, manually fill out their details in the fields provided

  5. To add additional joint owners, click on the + button

  6. Once the details for each owner have been entered, click Submit enquiry and add property

  7. A blank property record will open. Users should work through the record, entering the relevant information

  8. Click Update property

2. Setting the initial meeting

  1. Go to Sales properties > View appraisals

  2. In the Initial meeting column, click on the calendar icon

  3. Select the required date and time

  4. If the appointment is to be added to your or a colleague's calendar, tick Add event to calendar and select the appropriate calendar name

  5. Click Submit

Note: The information in the property record is used to work accurately with other aspects of the system; therefore, we recommend that users populate the record with as much information as possible.

If the owner has more than one property they want to appraise, repeat the above process for each property. When adding subsequent appraisals for the owner, users can select the owner's name from the Add from existing owners dropdown menu when adding the enquiry.

3. Scheduling a follow-up

  1. Go to Sales properties > View appraisals

  2. In the Chase Date column, click on the Calendar icon

  3. Select the required date and time

  4. If the appointment is to be added to your or a colleague's calendar, tick Add event to calendar and select the appropriate calendar name

  5. Click Submit

4. After the follow-up

  1. Go to Sales properties > View appraisals

  2. In the Add follow-up column, click on the plus icon

  3. Add the information regarding the contact with the seller, such as correspondence type, date, time and notes from the conversation

  4. Click Submit

This information can be viewed by clicking the arrow on the far left of the appraisal record to expand the accordion menu. The last contact date in the far right column will update to reflect this latest note and is also displayed within the View available properties page.
