Potential tenants - Adding a new tenant enquiry

Updated over 6 months ago

SME Professional has a function dedicated to storing and managing the details of potential tenant enquiries.

  1. Go to Correspondence > Potential tenant

  2. Click on Add enquiry

  3. The form is made up of 3 tabs (shown below), please work through each tab populating details relating to this new enquiry

  4. Click Submit

The fields within the form are mostly self-explanatory, however, we have outlined some brief guidelines on some of the key fields below for reference.

  • Linked properties - Used to indicate any properties of interest. 'General' will be automatically selected, allowing this enquiry to be added to viewings for any property.

  • Reported date - Date on which the enquiry was received

  • Chase date - Date on which further contact is to be made. If set, this date will appear within the Chase column on the Potential tenants page allowing users to track upcoming chase dates

  • Additional lead information - Can be used to hold any relevant enquiry information, for example, if they have children/pets or if they have a deadline for finding a property

  • Marketing consent - Whether the enquiry has consented to receive marketing materials from the agent

  • Property matching consent - Whether the enquiry has consented to receive property matching emails generated through SME Professional. For further information on this functionality, please click here.
