BulkSMS is a leading SMS messaging service provider and our integration with them allows users to send text messages to their clients directly from SME Professional.
1. BulkSMS integration setup
To set up a BulkSMS account, navigate to https://www.bulksms.com/ and select Sign-up today
Once the account has been created, please email your BulkSMS username and password to [email protected] so that we can complete the integration setup
2. BulkSMS settings
Before sending any text messages from SME Professional, there are two settings that need to be updated within your BulkSMS account:
Credits package - BulkSMS works on a pay-as-you-go (PAYG) service so an adequate number of credits needs to be held within your account at all times. To buy new credits:
Login to your BulkSMS account (www.bulksms.com)
Within the Commerce Centre section, select Buy credits
Complete the form
Text message replies - Once set up, all replies to your text messages will be forwarded to a specified email address. Please follow the steps below to set this up:
Login to your BulkSMS account (www.bulksms.com)
Within the Settings section, click on Message
In the Message settings, select the Replies tab
Click on the pencil icon and select Send an email and populate the Send email to: field with the relevant email address
Click Save
Once the above steps have been completed you will then be ready to start sending texts via SME Professional.
