Bank lines - Importing transactions

Updated over 6 months ago

1. Navigate to Bank > Add [name of account]

Note the date listed next to Last entry for this account in the system and the required file type to import. For example, QIF, OFX or CSV.

2. In a new browser tab, log in to your online bank account and export the bank transactions in the required file format for the appropriate date range (the date range should begin with the day after the date recorded in step 1).

3. To import the downloaded transactions:

  • Navigate to Bank > Add [name of account]

  • Click Browse

  • Select the downloaded bank file and click Open

  • Click Upload File

To automatically assign the banklines navigate to Bank > Auto assign bank lines.

Further information

The system will only import transactions for a completed day of banking. This is to safeguard against standing order payments or direct debits being recalled within 24 hours of being made.

The system will disregard any transactions with a date prior to the date of the latest imported bank transaction for that account.

Note: If a date has been missed, please email the file to [email protected] to be uploaded. It is important to ensure that the file only contains the transactions that need to be added to the system. If there are multiple client accounts on the system, please include the name of the account to which transactions should be uploaded.
