SME Professional offers an online viewing form for clients who have their company websites hosted by our website team. This form is accessible on the property pages on your website and allows prospective tenants to select from available viewings and book themselves in as viewers.
1. Adding a viewing
Viewing blocks must be created on SME Professional in order to allow users to book themselves in for viewings.
Go to Lettings Properties > Viewings (or Sales properties > Sales viewings)
Click on + Viewing
In the pop-up, enter details of the viewing. Note, the Property and Date and time of viewing fields are mandatory and you will be unable to save the viewing without these being completed
Ensure the Interval time and Max per interval fields are populated correctly to set the length of each viewing slot and the maximum number of viewers allowed per viewing slot
Click on + Communication
Click on Add viewing
2. How the form works
When users on your website book themselves in as viewers, the following actions will be completed.
The viewer should be added to the Viewing and visible under the viewing on the viewings page in SME Professional
You should automatically be sent a notification email from the web-service, informing you of a new viewer having been added to the viewing
The viewer themselves should automatically be sent an email - this time from SME Professional - this is the same email a viewer gets if they are added to a viewing manually in the software
