The branch switching functionality allows users to switch between multiple SME Professional systems without re-entering log-in details each time. To enable this functionality, please contact [email protected].
When the branch switching function has been enabled, a dropdown menu will appear at the top right of the system. As shown in the below example, this has been enabled for two systems. The dropdown menu will allow users to switch between multiple systems, as required.
If a user also has more than one SME Professional tab open at the time of switching between systems, the page will refresh notifying users that the current system has been changed to the selected branch, as shown in the below example.
Note: Any new users created on SME Professional after the branch switching function has been enabled will automatically have access to all linked systems. Usernames and passwords will also be the same for each system.
Note: At the time of enabling the functionality for existing users, it can be discussed with the Support team which users should have access to which systems. Only the passwords of these users will be updated to match all systems.
