End tenancy - Incorrect final payment date options

Updated over 7 months ago

1. Incorrect final tenant payment date

The dates that show in the final tenant payment dropdown pull directly from the Tenant ledger. If the required date is not available as an option to select or if there are no dates listed, a single due date can be added to the Tenant ledger to correct this.

  1. Go to Properties > View properties

  2. Locate the property in question

  3. In the View column, expand the dropdown and select Tenant ledger

  4. Select Enter single due date

  5. Enter the Date the payment is due

  6. In the Rent field, ensure the full monthly rental amount is entered

  7. Click Submit

This date should now appear as an option to select as the final tenant payment date on the Tenants > End tenancy page.

2. Incorrect final landlord payment date

The date of final payment to the landlord is based on the current landlord payment dates for the property. If the required date is not appearing as an option to select or no dates at all are showing, add a single landlord payment date to correct this.

  1. Go to Properties > View properties

  2. Locate the property in question

  3. In the Actions column, expand the dropdown and select Landlord payment dates

  4. In the Rent out due date field, set the date on which the landlord is to be paid on

  5. The Rent out due should be the rental amount minus your management fee

  6. At the bottom of the page, select Enter single date

This date should now appear as an option to select as the final landlord payment date on the Tenants > End tenancy page.
