Appliances - Adding and managing appliances

On SME Professional, users have the ability to log details of an appliance including its warranty expiry date, serial number and supplier.

1. Adding an appliance

  1. Go to Lettings Properties > Inventories and Appliances > Appliances

  2. Click on + New appliance

  3. Select the relevant property

  4. Populate the form with details of the appliance

  5. Click Add

2. Closing an appliance

If an item has been removed from a property, a removal date can be set against the appliance before the record is closed.

To set a removal date:

  1. Go to Lettings Properties > Inventories and Appliances > Appliances

  2. Locate the relevant appliance

  3. Click on the edit pencil icon

  4. Populate the Removal date field

  5. Click on Update

To close an appliance log:

  1. Go to Lettings Properties > Inventories and Appliances > Appliances

  2. Locate the relevant

  3. In the Close/Reopen column, click on the tick icon

Users can view closed items by clicking on Complete under the View link.

3. Deleting an appliance

If an appliance has been added in error, it can be deleted by clicking on the red cross icon within the Delete column.
