Loaned items - Adding and managing loaned items

On SME Professional, users are able to keep track of items and appliances that have been loaned out to landlords/tenants, for example portable heaters or ladders.

1. Adding a loaned item

  1. Go to Admin > Loaned items

  2. Select + Loaned item

  3. Populate the form with the required details

  4. Click Add

This item will now appear as a log on the Admin > Loaned items page.

2. Returning/completing a loaned item

When the item has been returned, the loaned item log can be completed:

  1. Go to Admin > Loaned items

  2. Locate the required item

  3. Click on the edit pencil icon

  4. Populate the Returned date field

  5. Click Update

Once a returned date has been set, the item will be automatically moved to the Completed items page. Users can access this page by clicking on the View complete items link.

3. Deleting a loaned item

If a loaned item has been added in error, it can be deleted by clicking on the red cross within the Delete column.
