Property management - Updating a sales property

1. Editing a Property

Users can edit a property record at any time by following the steps listed below:

  1. Go to Sales properties > View appraisals or Sales Properties > View available properties (depending on the status of the property)

  2. Locate the required property

  3. Within the Address column, click on the property address

  4. Amend the fields as required

  5. Click Update property

2. Deleting a Property

SME Professional has been designed not to delete property records, in order to retain records of logged actions made against that property.

Instead, the system offers the ability to archive properties. Archived properties will not be visible when carrying out day-to-day tasks within SME Professional, however, they will still be available for reference when needed.

To archive a property, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Sales properties > View appraisals or Sales Properties > View available properties (depending on the status of the current property)

  2. Locate the required property

  3. Within the Enquiry status or Property status column, expand the dropdown and select the appropriate Past property status option

  4. The table will update and this property will no longer be visible

To view archived properties, navigate to any one of the pages mentioned above, expand the Filter by property status dropdown and select Past property. The table will then update to list only archived properties.
