Properties - Adding a new area/location

1. What are areas and locations?

In SME Professional, a 'Location' is defined as a town, city or village and an 'Area' is defined as an area or suburb within a location.

2. Adding an area

To add a new area:

  1. Go to Admin > Add locations and areas

  2. Click on + Area

  3. Choose the location from the dropdown menu

  4. Enter the name of the area

  5. Click Submit

Note: This new area will appear on documentation, so please ensure capitalisation and spelling is correct before submitting.

To add a new location:

  1. Go to Admin > Add locations and areas

  2. Click on + Location

  3. Enter the name of the location

  4. Click Submit

4. Viewing previously added areas/locations

On Admin > Add locations and areas, there are two tables available. The top table lists all available locations, and the bottom table displays all available areas and their associated location.

We recommend reviewing the relevant table before adding a new location/area to prevent duplication.
