This month we have a packed update full of powerful new features, smart integrations, and exciting developments that will make your work faster, smoother, and more connected than ever. From our brand-new unified Viewings form to game-changing integrations with Verify and flatfair, we are streamlining your day-to-day so you can focus on what really matters.

But that is not all… we have rolled out key software and UI improvements, are pioneering an enhanced Rightmove lead integration, and are developing more AI-powered tools to take property descriptions and admin efficiency to the next level (such as integrations with AI-powered chat systems). Plus, there is fresh innovation on the horizon with Open Banking and AML checks - all designed to save you time, boost compliance, and deliver better service for your clients.

We have been working on a fantastic new form for adding viewings. Replacing separate forms for block viewings and individual appointments, users will soon have one unified Viewings form for both.

Key highlights:

For block viewings, users can skip the Viewer Details stage and move straight to Communications to submit the viewing.

SME Professional now integrates with Verify by Agilico to automatically read contractor invoices and submit them directly to SME Professional. This cloud-based solution automates invoice capture, matching, and approval - cutting down on manual work and reducing errors.

Once approved, landlord deductions flow directly into SME Professional, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems. With full visibility at every stage and flexible reporting tools, Verify makes tracking and analysing invoices simple and efficient.

SME Professional has a new integration with deposit solution flatfair, which is designed to simplify the deposit process for agents, tenants, and landlords.

Flatfair offers both traditional and No Deposit options - giving tenants more flexibility while landlords benefit from up to 10 weeks of free protection and improved debt recovery.

The platform helps ensures better compliance, and generates extra revenue opportunities.

Now fully integrated with SME Professional, flatfair streamlines your deposit process, improves efficiency, and supports smarter tenant screening.

We’ve enhanced our integrations with Let Alliance and HomeLet to now support sending landlord details.

The major rollout of our updated user interface continues, with the removal of the sidebar and the relocation of actions and filters above the page table. These changes are designed to maximise on-screen space and improve visibility of key information.

We are continuing to extend this update across the system.

We are working with Rightmove to update how they send us portal leads. Instead of checking for new leads when loading the Portal Leads page, Rightmove will now send them to us in real time.

This major update incorporates new data fields to support Rightmove’s new enhanced lead feature. For example, Income satisfactory, Employment status, and Urgency for lettings applicants, and if they have property to sell or let for sales applicants.

This update is currently in development and will be tested with select clients before a full release.

Please note: While AI helps speed up content creation, it’s important to verify accuracy before finalising any descriptions for property listings.

A new 'View uploaded files' section is being added for Contractors, allowing users to upload Terms of business, Professional Indemnity insurance, Public liability insurance and Employee insurance documents. As a reminder, contractor insurance expiry dates can already be tracked from the main Contractors page.

Generated remittance documents will also be available in this area.

We having been working on an Open Banking integration designed to automate the import of bank transactions into SME Professional, eliminating the need for manual file uploads.

This is currently in beta-testing with a client and we are awaiting authorisation from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) before release.

Work is underway on a new Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks page, designed to streamline the tracking and management of documents across key contacts - owners, landlords, tenants, guarantors and buyers.

This new interface will support uploading and monitoring documents across six AML categories: Identity, Address, Ownership, Source of Funds, Sanctions, and PEPs.

An initial design of the AML checks page is included below. Further updates will be shared as development progresses.

Alongside our upcoming AI-powered property description generator (described above), we have more AI features and integrations (including AI-driven systems capable of managing communication across multiple channels) on the horizon - stay tuned!

Our automated SMS viewing reminders feature sends a text message to eligible viewers on the day of their viewing. By default, scheduled viewing reminders will be sent to viewers at 08:00 on the morning of the viewing but this can be amended.

When enabled, simply tick the 'Schedule SMS viewing reminder' checkbox when adding a viewing appointment or adding a viewer to an existing viewer.

This feature aims to reduce manual time spent sending these reminders and reduce the number of no shows.
