Maintenance - Adding a new contractor service/maintenance category

1. Adding a new service/maintenance category option

  1. Go to Contractors > View contractors

  2. Click on Add service

  3. In the Contractor services field, enter the name of the new category

  4. Click Submit

2. Linking a service to an existing contractor

  1. Go to Contractors > View contractors

  2. Locate the relevant contractor

  3. In the Add service column, click on the + icon

  4. Select the relevant service from the dropdown

  5. Enter any additional comments

  6. Click Submit

3. Maintenance categories

At the point of creating a new maintenance report (Properties > Maintenance > Add report), users have the option to select a category for the job (shown below).

To update an existing report to reflect a newly added service:

  1. Go to Lettings Properties > Maintenance

  2. Locate the report in question

  3. Click on the edit pencil icon

  4. Update the Maintenance category field

  5. Click Update
