The BCC field for emails auto-populates for systems set up with internal emailing.
The BCC field can be populated in the following ways:
1. Employee record
Go to Admin > My details
Populate the Work email (default send email) and BCC email (if different from work email) as required
Click Update employee
Please note that the Work email (default send email) field automatically pulls through to the BCC field. The BCC email (if different from the work email) field only needs to be populated if a different email address should pull through to the BCC field.
2. Global BCC email address
The Global BCC email address is set against an SME Professional system to pull through to the BCC field of emails generated by all users. With this set, the Global BCC email address overwrites the email address in a user's employee record.
If you would like this enabled, please email [email protected] and confirm the email address to use.
3. No BCC email address
If you do not want to receive copies of emails sent from the system, the BCC functionality can be disabled. When this is disabled, the BCC field will remain blank.
Please note that this can only be disabled across the system, not for individual users.
