Tenancy - Tenant has withdrawn their application for a property

If a tenant has withdrawn their application for a property, please follow the steps below to reflect this on the system.

1. Updating the tenant's status

  1. Go to Tenants > View tenants

  2. Locate the relevant tenant

  3. Click on the edit pencil icon

  4. Expand the Tenant status dropdown and select Fall through

2. Updating the tenant ledger

If a new tenancy for this tenant has already been created, users will need to visit the tenant ledger and remove all due dates that are no longer required.

  1. Go to Lettings properties > View properties

  2. Locate relevant property

  3. Expand the View dropdown and select Ledger (tenant)

  4. Click on Delete due dates

  5. Select the date on which the rent due dates are to be deleted on and after

  6. Click Submit

3. Archiving the referencing application

For clients who use the Let Alliance integration, the previous referencing application for this tenant will need to be archived. This will allow for new referencing applications to be started for this property.
